Jesseca Washburn is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner earning her graduate degree from the Indiana University School of Nursing.
Passionate about a patient-centered approach, Jesseca combines modern medical treatments with holistic therapies, creating personalized care plans, that meet the unique needs of each individual. She is dedicating to thinking outside the box to provide thoughtful, tailored care- ensuring a supportive and unhurried experience for every patient.

Laura is originally from Bedford, IN. She received her graduate degrees from Indiana University School of Nursing. Laura is a board-certified psychiatric NP practicing in psychiatry for over 18 years. Laura’s experience with adolescents and adults has been in a variety of settings, including community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. Laura resides in Carmel with her husband, children, and their dog and cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. Laura is passionate about mental health and helping others find and appreciate their individual strengths.

Brittney is originally from the Ohio Valley and recently moved to the Indianapolis area. She obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and is a licensed clinical social worker. Brittney is trained in EMDR and is a certified breathwork facilitator. She strongly believes that the body holds invaluable information and memories that contribute to our overall well-being. Brittney utilizes an individualistic, holistic, and bottom-up approach to treat the whole person in order to increase overall wellness. Her therapeutic approach integrates traditional talk therapy with somatic techniques to address the interconnectedness of physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts. Brittany is a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Fort Branch, Indiana, with a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. She has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including adults, seniors, adolescents, and individuals with chronic mental illness, both inside and outside the hospital setting.
Trained in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brittant integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches to treat the whole person, prioritizing patient-centered care and meeting clients where they are. She is deeply committed to fostering empathy and understanding in her work, believe that these elements are essential for healing and growth.

Will is originally from Wanamaker, IN and received his graduate degree from Ball State University. He has worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor practicing in Central Indiana for over 20 years. He believes that people bring their own set of unique experiences, beliefs, values, and strengths to each session. He brings a holistic approach to both individual & couples therapy where he draws on Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt & Jungian, Trauma-focused, and Addictions therapies to create a safe space for healing and growth. He believes an empathetic environment is the first step toward facilitating wellness for each person. Will resides in Carmel with his wife, children, dog, and cat.

In your initial visit the provider will evaluate your full medical, psychiatric, psycho-social, and family history in conjunction with your present symptoms. An accurate medical history is important to obtain at this first visit because certain medical conditions can present with psychiatric symptoms. Prior to this visit you will be sent a link to register with our patient portal which includes New Patient Questionnaires for your online account. The patient portal also allows for easy and necessary communication between you and your provider. During this initial session, your treatment goals will be discussed in depth and a full treatment plan (including medications, complementary and alternative wellness interventions, and/or psychotherapy if needed) will be prescribed. We offer in-person and telehealth services. Telehealth and our patient portal are readily accessed from any smart phone, tablet, and/or computer.

At this time Helix Health Depression & Anxiety Center is considered a direct psychiatric practice model. What this means for you is our psychiatric care is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). You can pay for your membership using FSA, HSA, or HRA debit card. We also accept all major credit and debit cards. At Helix Health Depression & Anxiety Center our direct psychiatric practice model eliminates some of the hassles you can encounter with insurance. For example, you no longer have to worry about whether your provider will stop taking your insurance and this type of service eliminates extra paperwork allowing our providers more time with you. A direct psychiatric practice model supports our goal to offer affordable access to quality mental health services.

Helix Health & Anxiety Center provides a hybrid model of both in-person and telehealth appointments. This allows for more flexible appointment times that can fit easily into your schedule. Our direct psychiatric practice model allows for affordable transparent fees and no hidden costs. When you request your appointment you will receive a link to your patient portal where you will input your FSA, HSA, HRA, Major Credit or Debit card information. Your information will be securely stored and will be charged the day of your appointment.

Helix Health Depression & Anxiety Center has a cancellation policy that balances those unexpected changes to your schedule with our direct psychiatric practice model. We require that memberships are canceled at least 30 days prior. If you need to cancel an appointment please do so 24 hours prior to the appointment time. If no attempts to communicate the need to change or cancel your appointment, a $10 fee will be applied for missed appointments.

In your initial evaluation our providers will work with you to establish your goals and create a treatment plan to support your goals. While some people benefit from ongoing psychiatric care other people may prefer to be seen less often. Our goal is to create an environment of mental health and wellness that will empower people to reach their goals.
